Blanche River Health is URGENTLY seeking locum physicians to cover ED shifts at our Kirkland Lake site.

Our Kirkland Lake site in Kirkland Lake, Ontario features 41 medical/surgical beds including 4 ICU beds and 2 step-down beds. Our ED has an average of 35 patients in a 24-hour census and offers services including general surgery, anesthesia, visiting specialists, diagnostic imaging with CT scanner, laboratory services, physiotherapy, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy services (including on-site chemotherapy mixing). We also have a satellite oncology clinic (via OTN through HSN), as well as mental health and palliative and discharge care services.

 Getting Here Is Easy:

• The Drive: Located 580 km north of Toronto straight up Highway 11.
• The Flight: Fly into Timmins (YTS) and grab a rental car - it's a scenic, traffic-free 1.5-hour drive straight to the hospital. (Or fly into North Bay for a beautiful 2.5-to-3-hour drive north).

Housing & Travel:

Fully furnished local housing is arranged directly by us, with all upfront accommodation and travel expenses fully reimbursed.

Remuneration:

Dayshift: $318/hr

Nightshift: $270/hr
