Job Description

 

I'm looking for a locum Family Physician to help with my well-established practice of ~1100 patients starting September 1, 2025 (end date flexible).
 
Location: South Ottawa Medical Centre (www.somc.info).
We are a dynamic, supportive FHO group comprised of 13 family doctors + 1 general surgeon + 1 psychiatrist + 1 GP-derm + 1 travel medicine MD. EMR: PSS. Ocean for patient communications. Dynacare in-house for our patients.
 
  • Payment model: full FHO capitation income (including access bonus) + FFS shadow billings + third party billing - all minus the overhead
  • Number of half-days per week and number of patients per half-day: up to the locum (currently 4 half-days per week + 1 evening urgent care clinic per month + 1 Saturday q13weeks)
I am available for mentorship and clinic coverage - so ideal for a new grad transitioning to practice! Also potential to join FHO long-term if interested.
