Location: Multiple Locations (Etobicoke, Mississauga, Hamilton, Milton, Brampton, London)

Our client is currently seeking 8 Family Physicians (GPs) to join their growing network of pediatric-focused clinics. Physicians will rotate between two to three clinic locations per week.

About the Opportunity

Our client operates a network of pediatric urgent care clinics across the Greater Toronto Area—one of the first dedicated exclusively to children and staffed primarily by pediatricians. As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking Family Physicians to complement their pediatric teams while providing comprehensive family medicine services to adult patients and families within their communities.

This opportunity allows physicians to build and manage their own family medicine practice, providing care for adult patients while also having the flexibility to see patients of all ages if desired. Physicians may focus primarily on adult medicine, referring pediatric patients directly to the on-site pediatricians, or choose to practice full-spectrum family medicine while collaborating closely with pediatric specialists.

Family Physicians will work in a modern, collaborative outpatient environment supported by administrative staff, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals. The clinics are designed to support efficient patient care and strong interdisciplinary collaboration.

Physicians will also have direct referral access to Pediatric Subspecialists, including:

• Pediatric Allergy
• Pediatric Asthma
• Pediatric Psychiatry
• Developmental Pediatrics
• Autism Clinic
• Speech & Language Pathology

This model allows Family Physicians to focus on practicing family medicine while having immediate access to pediatric expertise and subspecialty care when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive family medicine care including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care for adult patients
• Option to provide care for patients of all ages, depending on physician preference
• Manage patient care through assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
• Collaborate closely with pediatricians and pediatric subspecialists within the clinic network
• Refer pediatric patients to on-site pediatricians or subspecialists when appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation within the EMR system
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff, allied health professionals, and administrative teams
• Support a patient-centered approach to care while maintaining high clinical standards

Remuneration

Fee-for-Service Split Model

• First 2 Months: 100% earnings to the physician (no overhead)
• Months 3–12: 80/20 split (physician/clinic)
• Year 2: 75/25 split
• Year 3 onward: 70/30 split

Requirements

• Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) or eligible for licensure with CPSO
• Certification or eligibility through an Approved Jurisdiction recognized by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
• Physicians must have completed Family Medicine training in one of the following Approved Jurisdictions:
  • United States
  • United Kingdom
  • Ireland
  • Australia
  • New Zealand
• CMPA coverage 
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
