Aafiyat Medical Centre is recruiting a Pediatrician to join our physician-led multidisciplinary clinics serving communities across Mississauga, Brampton, Markham, and Kitchener.

The Pediatrician will provide comprehensive primary and consultative care for infants, children, and adolescents in a collaborative community-based clinic environment. The role includes preventive care, developmental monitoring, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic pediatric conditions.

Our clinics operate within an integrated care model with family physicians and allied health professionals working together to provide coordinated patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric assessments, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions
• Conduct well-baby visits, developmental assessments, and routine pediatric checkups
• Monitor child growth and development and provide preventive care and vaccinations
• Diagnose and manage pediatric illnesses and conditions
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic investigations when required
• Provide guidance to parents and caregivers on child health, nutrition, and development
• Coordinate care with family physicians, specialists, and allied health professionals
• Refer patients to appropriate specialists or hospital services when necessary
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Participate in collaborative care within a multidisciplinary clinic environment

On-site at Aafiyat Medical Centre clinics in:

• Mississauga

• Brampton

• Markham

• Kitchener

Physicians may work at one or multiple locations depending on preference and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD or equivalent)
• Completion of Pediatric Residency Training
• Eligible for licensure with the
• College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
• CMPA coverage (or eligibility)
