The Urology Service at Langley Memorial Hospital is seeking a full-time urologist to join a well-established local group of two full-time urologists. This is an excellent opportunity to build a comprehensive and busy practice within a supportive community hospital environment.
Position Overview: The successful candidate will provide comprehensive general urology services, which currently include:
Uro-Oncology
-Radical cystectomy
-Prostatectomy
-Kidney cancer surgery
Reconstructive Urology
-Sling procedures
-Stone Disease - High - Volume Stone Centre
-Endourology and advanced stone management
-Percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL)
-Participation in a high-volume regional stone program
The successful applicant will join a collegial local team of two full-time urologists and participate in monthly Uro-Oncology rounds. The position includes inclusion in a regional weekend call group, providing shared call coverage and balanced workload distribution. Prior independent clinical experience is preferred.
As a member of the Fraser Health medical staff, you will participate in the University of British Columbia (UBC) medical education program and are expected to apply for a clinical faculty appointment in the Division of Urology, UBC.
