Job Description

The community of Shelburne is seeking a full scope family physician to join their family practice network team in the Shelburne Family Practice.

Responsibilities

  • Delivery of comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness
  • Work toward same day or next day access for the practice population
  • Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities
  • Utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) and record all relevant patient details in a provincially approved EMR which is accessible to all collaborating team members
  • Physicians will have the opportunity to participate in the inpatient rotation at Roseway Hospital as well long-term care and emergency department opportunities.

Expected Hours

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • 46 out of 52 weeks in a year
