The community of Carlyle is seeking a skilled, compassionate, and patient-focused family medicine physician to join their primary health care team. The successful candidate will provide primary health care services to individuals and families across all ages and backgrounds, from pediatric to geriatric care. You will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a variety of conditions while fostering strong, long-term relationships with patients. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive environment.This position requires providing 24 hour on-call coverage in both Carlyle and Arcola for the following services: emergency room, hospital in-patients, home care and long term care residents as well as critical lab values. Scheduling of these responsibilities will be arranged equitably and collaboratively with the other physicians providing physician and primary health services in Carlyle and Arcola.This position will remain open until filled and may be filled prior to the posted closing date.

The Rural Physician Incentive Program which provides up to $200,000 over five years to family physicians practising, or returning to practice, in rural and remote communities in Saskatchewan

The SMA Retention Fund, which provides financial reward to physicians who practise full time in the province for extended periods of time ranging from $7,000 - $14,000 per year.

Qualifications:

The candidate will hold certification or be eligible for certification from https://choosefamilymedicine.ca. Successful applicants will be eligible for a provisional or regular license to practice in Saskatchewan with the https://www.cps.sk.ca/imis/All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; in accordance with immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada.The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a Criminal Record Check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member. The CRC must be dated within the past six (6) months and be satisfactory to the SHA.
