Job Description
Apexxcare Medical Centre is seeking a full-time Family Physician to join our clinic in Brampton, Ontario, anticipated to start in the first week of November 2026.
Join a growing practice with one physician already on board, two full-time clinic staff, and Accuro EMR. This opportunity offers the chance to build lasting patient relationships in a supportive clinic setting.
Practice highlights:
• Approximately 2,000-square-foot clinic with four examination rooms.
• Two full-time clinic staff supporting daily operations.
• One physician currently committed to the practice.
• Accuro electronic medical records.
• Group account billing.
• Proposed split: 75% to the physician and 25% toward clinic overhead, subject to final agreement.
• Planned clinic hours: Monday to Friday, approximately 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m.
• Anticipated physician start: early November 2026.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across all age groups.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and manage chronic medical conditions.
• Deliver preventive care, screening, health counselling, and patient education.
• Order and interpret investigations, prescribe treatment, and arrange specialist referrals when appropriate.
• Review test results and consultation reports, ensuring timely follow-up and continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records using Accuro EMR.
• Collaborate with the clinic’s physician and staff to support coordinated care and efficient clinic operations.
• Practise in accordance with applicable professional standards and regulatory requirements.
We welcome inquiries from both experienced family physicians and physicians beginning their careers. Applicants must hold, or be eligible for, the appropriate CPSO registration to practise family medicine in Ontario, with registration in place before starting. Familiarity with Accuro is an asset.
Recruitment is underway now for the November opening.
