Fee-for-Service (FFS), sessional payments, and MOCAP funding

75/25 split on MSP and uninsured payments; 100% of LFP panel and QI project payments paid to physicians; Flexible payment models: Fee-for-Service (FFS), LFP, or NTP; Minimum guaranteed 6 patients per hour; Business Cost Premium adds $48/day to billings.

Estimated yearly remuneration: $350,000+; option of Longitudinal Family Physician (LFP) or Fee-for-Service (FFS). REEF and MOCAP Level 1 for ER. MSP premium 23.10% plus $35,798.40 annual bonus (flat fee). $20,000 signing bonus; moving allowance $9,000–$15,000 (depending on origin). REAP and RCME funding available.

Fee-for-service (MSP billings). Additional incentives: MOCAP (Medical On Call Availability Program) and REEF (Rural Emergency Enhancement Funding) available on top of MSP billings; Rural Education Action Plan (REAP) and Rural Continuing Medical Education (RCME) supports. Relocation/moving allowance: $9,000 (within BC); $12,000 (within Canada, outside BC); $15,000 (outside Canada).

Alternative Payment Arrangement; opportunity for additional outreach-based compensation (outreach to surrounding First Nations communities). Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) funding may apply.

Alternative Payment Arrangement; Relocation: $15,000 if relocating from outside of Canada; $12,000 if relocating within Canada but outside of BC; $9,000 if relocating within BC. Estimated Yearly Remuneration does not include Retention Premium and Flat Fees.

Remuneration will be a Fee For Service (FFS) model . The surgical group is currently able to offer 1-2 OR days a month within the Edmonton Zone, as well as 1-2 days of endoscopy time per month. There is Outpatient department resources for minor procedures. Call coverage is required and divided equally amongst the surgeons.
