East Elgin Family Health Team has an employment opportunity for a physician seeking a full-time practice in a team environment.  A rural, diverse practice of approx 1200 -1600 patient roster, this Blended Salary Model is ideal for a new graduate with student debt, who does not want to be a start up business or a seasoned physician who does not want to deal with all of the admin headaches that come with running your own business.  Fully equipped office and exam rooms, nursing support, front desk support, paid vacation, sick days, PD days, benefits, RRSP match, and the opportunity to work with a great team of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Dietitians, Social Work in a culturally safe and supported environment.  Up to a 40 hour work week, After Hours Clinic on a rotational basis, Saturday morning 1 out 9 weeks.

Population of approximately 26,000 people which include Mennonite and Amish groups.

We have approximately 10,000 patients.

Unlike the rest of the province, we have a larger segment of the population who are under 18 yrs.,  along with a high proportion of seniors.
