Contract – 4-step primary health care compensation grid for 220 (1.0 FTE) clinic days per year (including weekends and statutory holidays). Candidate may be eligible for Rural Physician Incentive Program (up to $200,000 over five years) and SMA Retention Fund ($3,500–$7,000).

Compensation for this opportunity is based on a fee-for-service model and may include additional program stipends. The average gross income of a Cardiologist in Alberta is $600,000 to $900,000. Remuneration is on a fee-for-service basis and is competitive with other North American jurisdictions.
