The community of Esterhazy, located in South East Network 5, is looking for a family physician to join their team. This permanent full time position works primarily out of a group practise in Esterhazy. The medical clinic is modern, well organized and fully equipped. On call coverage at St. Anthony's hospital emergency room is required on a rotational basis and services may also be provided to the local long term care home and surrounding communities within the area, with the opportunity to participate in the Yorkton Regional Hospital Emergency Room service rotation.
Esterhazy is a vibrant community located in the east central part of the province of Saskatchewan, with a population of over 2,500 and services a trading area of approximately 10,000 people. The Town of Esterhazy is about a one hour drive from the City of Yorkton and is nicknamed the Potash Capital of the World.
Family physicians may consult with and/or make referrals to specialists at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre which currently provides the following specialty services: obstetrics & gynecology, general surgery, Medical Health Officer, radiology, anesthesiology, pediatrician, psychiatry and internal medicine.

Call Schedule:
24-hour on-call emergency coverage is required for the emergency room, hospital inpatients, home care and long-term care residents, as well as for critical lab values. Currently, the on-call responsibilities are shared equitably among physicians in the community.
