Family Physician – Locum

The Sharbot Lake Family Health Team is composed of an interdisciplinary team of:

• Physicians
• Nurse Practitioner
• Psychiatrist

• Certified Diabetes Educators
• Dietitian
• Occupational Therapist
• Respiratory Therapist
• Health Promoters
• Executive Director
• Program Manager
• Administrative/Support staff

Together we provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care to residents in the communities of Central Frontenac, as well as, portions of North and South Frontenac.

We provide management of both acute and chronic conditions, as well as minor emergency care for a roster of approximately 3500 patients. Sharbot Lake is located approximately 1 hour North of Kingston, 1.5 hours Southwest of Ottawa, and 3 hours East of Toronto.

This is an opportunity for a new graduate or established physician to provide meaningful care to a rural community. We are an enthusiastic and exceptional team who are dedicated to prioritizing patient-centred care. We are seeking a personable and professional physician to join our team and aid in serving our community.
