Job Description

Starting April 2026 until Dec 2026 (flexible dates).

 

I am looking for locum coverage for a mat leave starting April 2026 (Start date flexible). Ideally looking for coverage up to 8 months, if possible.

 

Location: Nepean, Ottawa:

Address: 1580 Merivale Road, Suite 309, Ottawa ON K2G 4B5

 

EMR Details: PS Suites. Remote access available.


Schedule: I’m quite flexible and can accommodate what will work for you!

  • 5-6 half days per week.
  • 3 hr After Hours/Urgent Care Clinic (2 shifts per month plus Saturday morning every ~2.5-3 months).
  • Weekly inbox coverage required.


Remuneration: $550/half day + 100% Shadow Billing + 100% Third Party/Private Billing + extra $250/week stipend for weekly inbox coverage.


Roster Details: Medium sized practice (~1100 patients).

  • Well-managed patients.
  • Balanced age demographic.
  • No home visits.


Office Details:

  • 5 very friendly family physicians, nurse and support staff.
  • Nursing support for rooming patients, immunizations, wart cryotherapy treatments, ear flushing, etc.
  • 2 exam rooms available.
  • On-site lab and ECG (accepts walk-ins).
  • Fully equipped procedure room.
  • FREE parking.
