The NBRHC Service of Urology is seeking locums to assist with covering on-call scheduling blocks
Job Description
The NBRHC Service of Urology provides a broad scope of urologic care including open surgery, endourology, incontinence treatment and laparoscopy surgery. The service has full access to an array of urologic equipment & spaces including modern operating suites with HD equipment & laparoscopy equipment, high definition laparoscopic towers and telescopes, holmium laser, greenlight XPS laser, full PCNL equipment and use of the hospital ACU for urology outpatient procedures including vasectomy clinic, minor procedures & intravesical treatments.
Locum Role
Locums will be assigned the on call role for the Service with potential clinic time available in hospital. Locums are generally available in one week increments. Dates are negotiable.
Applicants are required to be certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the Province of Ontario. The organization is an affiliated academic teaching centre with the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM). The preferred candidate would be expected to participate in teaching undergraduates and postgraduate medical learners.

Remuneration
This position will be remunerated with OHIP billings fee for service and Hospital On-Call Compensation (HOCC). Our locums are HealthForce Ontario NSLP funded (respite coverage) which includes daily honorarium, travel sessionals as well as travel and accommodation expenses.
