Job Description
This is a wonderful opportunity for a family physician interested in being a part of an academic department at a large teaching hospital, and working with a robust multidisciplinary Family Health Team. We are an established large teaching site for residents and medical students. We also host a year 3 hospitalist program. We have an obstetrics service (delivering at Sinai Health System), an inpatient medicine service, a home-based primary care program, a sports medicine program, and a mental health program, among others. Our allied health team includes physiotherapy, social work, pharmacy, occupational health, chiropody, dietary, and respiratory therapy.
The successful candidate(s) should have a passion for teaching and clinical excellence. Enhanced skills training in low risk obstetrics is required.
This is a full time position and comes with an available FHO spot. The successful candidate(s) will be supported in obtaining an academic appointment at the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto.
