Job Description
Flexible Family Medicine maternity leave locum:
Location: Kapuskasing, ON
Dates: May 20th 2025 to January 2026 with options to extend or take on partial duration of leave
Type of practice: FHO within FHT.
Composed of 8 family physicians, 1 internist, 1 NP, 3 RPNs (2 are directly employed by me, shared with 3 colleagues) and 2 MOAs under the same model, other colleagues have their own MOAs
Roster size: 700.
Working hours: Looking for 5-10 days of coverage per month. Could be done at 2-3 days a week or 1-2 full weeks a month meaning you can come for a short period, leave and return on a monthly basis or come once and not return (I am open to having many short term locums to cover my leave). There’s local hospitalist (on a weekly rotation), emergency medicine, obstetrical and surgical assist opportunities that you can tack on to your work/stay as desired.
Payment method: Following the daily HFO stipend with some top off to ensure 500$/half day. Outside billings and access bonus to be redirected to the locum. Travelling expenses and housing covered by HFO.
