Job Description
Start date: June 16, 2025 (flexible)
Location: Norfolk Family Health Team, Simcoe ON (Norfolk County)
Practice size: ~1300
Hours: 3 days per week in office, inbox management other days
Compensation: Salary-based, capitation, shadow billing (15%), all 3rd party billings - NO OVERHEAD
Looking for 1 year of mat leave coverage starting June 2025 (can start July if needed). The Norfolk Family Health Team is a lovely, well-supported Blended Salary Model FHT, located centrally in Simcoe within a spacious new clinic space opened October 2024. FHT supports include a pharmacist, social work, dietician, nurse practitioners, smoking cessation program, spirometry/COPD program, midwifery/newborn program, and chronic pain program. We also have a consulting psychiatrist, geriatrician, and GP derm available in the clinic.
There are opportunities locally for ER or hospitalist work at the nearby Norfolk General Hospital if interested in addition to the locum position, and we are happy to help connect you with the right folks.
This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to explore the beautiful Norfolk County and all that it has to offer. New grads are welcome and will be well supported by other physicians in the group.
