Duties

1. Provide expert medical care to patients at a clinic convenient to you and your lifestyle.
2. Some doctors have a broad scope of practice, some have a narrower focus.  Within a large group environment, you have the flexibility to choose the type of practice you would like to have. 
3. OHIP or Private pay patients, in clinic, virtual clinic or hybrid practice. You have more options with Appletree and we provide training on EMR, virtual and other tools if you are new to some tools or would simply like a refresher on them.  
4. Some doctors prefer acute care, some prefer appointment based practices, some like to do counselling, the diversity of practice styles allows our group to better meet the needs of our patient population.  It's your practice, we provide an environment, tools and staff so that now you can fine tune it. 
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. With ready access to specialists, you are not alone and you are not bottle-necked when you need a second or specialist's opinion. 
6. We provide care 7 days a week, so we also have Evening and Weekend shift availability. 
7. Ability to provide care in the Ottawa Region

Qualifications

1. Registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
2. Experience providing internal medicine and acute care services to a diverse population
