Job Description
Seaforth Community Hospital is recruiting FM/EM physicians.
EM shifts are 24 hours, or can be divided 0800-2000 or 2000-0800, if preferred.
Payment is through the AFA between $230-$270/hr. Shadow billing premiums from 10-22.5% depending on shift.
For those travelling greater than 70km to Seaforth, travel reimbursement is available at 60cents/km.
The site offers flexible scheduling. The schedule is covered mainly by local family/emergency physicians who also provide hospitalist coverage and outpatient care as part of the Huron community Family Health Team (FHT).
Seaforth Community Hospital is part of the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance, which also includes; Clinton Public, St Marys Memorial and Stratford General Hospitals. The four-hospital Alliance is located in beautiful Southwestern Ontario.
Seaforth Community Hospital is a 20 bed well equipped hospital with a bed mix of medicine/ccc/rehab. There is strong specialty support available through colleagues at Stratford General Hospital, approximately 30 minutes away.
