Geraldton is located approximately 2 hours northeast of Thunder Bay along Trans-Canada Highway 11. You can fly into Thunder Bay from Toronto or other major cities, and then drive directly to Geraldton. Our team can assist with travel logistics to make your relocation as smooth as possible.

Role Overview & Options

We are seeking full-time family physicians to join our progressive, team-based hospital and clinic. You can customize your practice in one of the following ways: - Primary Care (Clinic Only) – see 10–12 patients/day - Emergency Department (ED Only) – 24-hour ED shifts supported by Nurse Practitioners (~85% of all shifts) - Blended Role – combine both clinic and ER with flexible scheduling Clinical services include diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation, chemotherapy, telemedicine, and full allied health support.

Compensation and Incentives

Monthly Salary: $27,902.24 ER Shifts: $3,600 per 24-hour shift Mid-month Stipends: $2,000–$4,000/month CME Bonus: $5,000/year Free Housing: 12 months of fully furnished accommodations Gym Membership: Free local gym pass Grocery Support: Available as needed

- Northern and Rural Recruitment and Retention Initiative (NRRRI) - $120,276 over four years for full time physicians - Northern Physician Retention Initiative (NPRI) – annual $7,460.95 retention incentive for full time physicians
