GP-Anesthetist needed for the beautiful community of Walkerton, a hospital site of South Bruce Grey Health Centre. The hospital supports one full time general surgeon (who shares rotating on call with two other general surgeons in a neighbouring town), as well as certain GP surgical procedures and visiting surgeons. On call coverage can be negotiated.

The hospital provides a variety of opportunities for a family or hospital based practice. This includes emergency and inpatient care in a 15 bed hospital, with visiting internal medicine support weekly. Other opportunities include emergency room care, GP-obstetrics (450 deliveries per year!), surgical assisting, palliative care, and LTC. You can build your practice the way you would like!

Locums are also available (both short and long term) to experience the clinic and the surrounding area. Walkerton (within the Municipality of Brockton) has a population of 10,000 people and is in a beautiful area of Bruce County along the Saugeen River. It is just a short drive to Lake Huron and to major urban centers.
