  • Diagnose and manage common gynecologic concerns such as menstrual irregularities, pelvic pain, menopause-related issues, and reproductive health conditions.
  • Perform in-clinic procedures such as Pap tests, IUD insertions/removals, endometrial biopsies, and minor gynecologic interventions.
  • Offer patient education on reproductive health, contraception, sexual wellness, and preventive care strategies.
  • Collaborate with family physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to support coordinated, holistic patient care.
  • Review diagnostic tests including ultrasounds, lab results, and pathology reports.
  • Maintain accurate, compliant medical documentation.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the enhancement of women’s health programs.

Qualifications

  • MD or equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification (or eligibility) in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
  • Valid medical license (or eligibility) in the province/state of practice.
  • Strong clinical experience in outpatient gynecology.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first approach.

Preferred Skills & Attributes

  • Experience with women’s preventive health and wellness-focused care.
  • Comfortable working independently within a clinic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional, warm, and approachable bedside manner.

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Part-time position: flexible schedule, typically 1–2 days per week depending on clinic needs.
  • Supportive outpatient setting with nursing and administrative assistance.
  • Access to diagnostic resources and a multidisciplinary team.
