We are seeking a family physician for 3-4 days per week, to replace a departing physician. The departing physician's patient panel is leaving as well, so the new FP will be able to build up their own patient panel as they see fit. It would not take many months at all to build up a new patient panel. The physician typically would do a mix of in-clinic and telehealth visits. These two types of visits could be done interspersed through a day working at the clinic, or telehealth could be done from another location of the physician's choice.
The visits would include all manner of family practice care, including paediatric and geriatric care, and could also include such things as minor procedures, early maternity care, long term care, home visits, and hospice visits, at the physician's discretion.
Our nursing staff do some hands-on care as well (cryotherapy of warts, removal of sutures, dressing changes and injections), which the physician would support as needed during their clinic hours.
