Internal Medicine Physician

We are currently seeking a Internal Medicine Physician to join our busy, well-established clinic. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative, patient-focused environment with strong administrative support and a growing patient population.

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Review and interpret diagnostic investigations.
• Manage complex medical conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, respiratory disorders, and other internal medicine conditions.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based clinical guidelines.
• Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Provide preventive care, health screening, and patient education.
• Coordinate patient care with specialists and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential electronic medical records.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support clinic policies and standards.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent medical degree.
• Certification in Internal Medicine by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent), or eligibility for certification.
• Independent license or eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
• Strong clinical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-centered care skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based medical practice.
• Ensure compliance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards
