Description:
Clinical responsibilities will include participation in clinics and the interpretation of angiograms as well as performing indicated coronary interventions. The candidate is expected to establish a research program with ongoing evidence of productivity as measured by grant success and publication. The position includes both daytime and overnight responsibilities for in-patient cardiology clinical services, as well as ambulatory care consultative opportunities. The extent of clinical services can be adjusted according to the academic expertise and career path of the applicant. |
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have completed an accredited training program in Adult Cardiology with additional subspecialty training in coronary angiography with specific expertise in percutaneous coronary heart procedures. In addition, the candidate will have an established track record in research into coronary microvascular disease with significant experience in the invasive study of microvascular dysfunction and a publication record in this area. Three letters of references are required. |
Eligibility for medical licensure in the Province of Alberta is required.
The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
Must read, write and speak English.
All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply however, Canadians and Permanent Residents will be given priority
