Locum Opportunity at a FHO/FHT Group Practice
Posting #50-059-25
A family physician who is part of a group practice with two other physicians, is looking for immediate locum support, covering all or part of January 2026. Supporting a roster of 1,350 patients, the locum can expect to work 8 half-days per week: full days Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, and half days on Wednesday and Friday.
Working in a medical building that has physio, imaging and a pharmacy, the practice is well-supported by two medical office admin, a part-time nurse, as well as Hamilton Family Health Team allied healthcare support, including a clinical pharmacist, a mental health counsellor and a registered dietitian.
Each physician in the group has access to two exam rooms, as well as a separate office room. Nursing and other allied health staff use an additional two rooms, and the team uses Telus PS EMR.
The locum can expect a competitive daily stipend.
