Looking for a family physician to provide part-time/locum coverage (2 to 3 days per week) for a family practice. Practice is located in Strathroy, Ontario, just a short 25 minute drive from London. This is a group (FHO) practice of 4 dynamic family physicians, and is co-located with a number of allied health professionals affiliated with the Thames Valley Family Health Team (pharmacist, respiratory therapist, dieticians, triage nurses, social workers, and diabetes educators) that provide unparalleled support. The clinic also has an excellent on-site compounding pharmacy, and provides significant nursing support for it's physicians (one FT nurse providing care for only 2 physicians).

As mentioned, the locum opportunity is for 2 to 3 days per week (hours are 830-430), which would ideally be Monday and Thursday, however the choice of days can be flexible. There are no weekend or after hours responsibilities. Typical patient volumes would be 20-30 visits per day. The practice uses Accuro EMR, and Dragon Dictation would be provided as an additional support (or AI scribe if preferred). Compensation is 1200$ per day.

Also, please note that there is the potential for any interested candidate to transition to a full-time clinic MD partner should they have interest. This could be in the form of taking over an established practice, or starting their own practice "from scratch".
