The Section of Hematology, AHS Calgary Zone, is seeking to recruit a Hematologist with training in Thrombosis. The Hematology Clinic is located in a large subspecialty clinic in an urban hospital. The clinic includes access to Day Medicine and supports outpatient procedures such as bone marrow biopsies. The successful candidate will provide outpatient consultations in Thrombosis and General Hematology. The successful candidate will also join the growing Calgary Thrombosis Program with the opportunity to participate in subspecialty thrombosis clinics. The position includes participation in the inpatient Hematology Consult Service on a rotational basis, up to 12 weeks per year. The Peter Lougheed Hospital is an academic teaching hospital in urban Calgary serving a diverse population. Teaching opportunities within the Internal Medicine and Hematology Training Programs exist
