$391,237.00–$452,949.00; Contract (Primary Health Care compensation grid for 220 clinic days/yr, 1.0 FTE). Emergency on-call remunerated per ERCP rates. Eligible for Rural Physician Incentive Program (up to $200,000).

Fee-for-Service

An excellent remuneration package including relocation allowance is provided. Remuneration range for a Laboratory Physician / Pathologist in Alberta is $364,597.00.00 to $424,123.00 per annum based on 209 days of service, subject to the conditions of the joint APL and Alberta Section of Laboratory Physicians/Alberta Medical Association Laboratory Physician Agreement. Starting remuneration will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s level of training and experience.

Compensation for this opportunity is based on a fee-for-service model and may include additional program stipends. The average gross income of a Family Medicine Physician in Alberta is $300,000 to $600,000. Total compensation for fee-for-service billings vary by individual practitioner, and the compensation shown reflects the average range of wages for this specialty as reported by Alberta Health. Multiple Alberta Medical Association (AMA) Compensation Programs, including the Rural Remote Northern Program (RRNP), which provides a variable fee premium for Smoky Lake of 11.90%. The salary range is based on the Fee-For-Service (FFS) earnings, as per the Schedule of Medical Benefits (SOMB) information published by Alberta Health Salary range of $250,000-$400,000 per annum depending on the service volume and patient load.
