Job Description
Southlake Health is seeking a Locum Obstetrician/Gynaecologist to join our collegial group of 11 generalists. This position offers an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care, with the potential to transition to a full-time/permanent position.
Southlake averages 2,600 deliveries annually and is supported by a Level 2C nursery.
This position is fee-for-service with Ministry of Health On-Call funding. There are also opportunities for academic affiliation with the University of Toronto and McMaster University to support medical teaching.
This is an excellent opportunity for an OB/GYN physician interested in exploring a new practice environment with the potential for a long-term, full- time role.
Qualifications:
• Royal College Certification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
• Eligible for or holding an Independent Licence with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
• Candidates with training in colposcopy and/or an interest in vaginal surgery are particularly encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will be eager to build a busy office practice to help serve our growing community.
