The North Bay Regional Health Centre, Service of Orthopaedic Surgery is seeking an ortho locum to provide on-call coverage, including emergency consultation and surgery for the weekend of December 5-8, 2025

North Bay Regional Health Centre is a unique health care organization with three primary roles: providing acute care services to North Bay and its surrounding communities, functioning as the district referral center providing specialist services for smaller communities in the area, and it is the specialized mental health service provider serving all of northeast Ontario. Qualifications:

RCPSC orthopaedic surgery certification, CPSO Independent license to practice orthopaedics, Community orthopaedic skill set, including experience & comfort with community orthopaedic trauma.

Remuneration:

OHIP Fee for Service Billings for services provided with daily Hospital On-Call Coverage (HOCC) stipend of $463.92.

Hospital parking provided

Hospital orientation provided and remunerated with a $500 stipend

Locums are NSLP Respite + funded:

Travel & accommodation expenses are reimbursed in line with NSLP guidelines

Daily honourarium of $363 for clinical days

Travel sessionals in line with NSLP guidelines

Travel honorarium of $363 for locum travel days to/from the community
