Job openings in family medicine at a FHO with an interdisciplinary team
Locum position, ideally 4 days per week (caseload of approximately 1,200 patients with the assistance of a nurse practitioner 2 days/week, in addition to access to an interdisciplinary team). An experienced replacement could potentially manage the workload in just 3 days per week, given the assistance provided.
Must be able to offer 1 after-hours block per week (from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., which is included in the requested schedule).
Desired duration: approximately six (6) months to one (1) year

Environment
The Centre médical Ste-Anne (CMSA) is a family health services organization (FHO) seeking a family physician to provide care to its patient members in order to improve and/or maintain their physical and mental health and well-being. These physicians will work in close collaboration with professionals from the Center's various programs. Our team currently consists of 3 family physicians, a consulting psychiatrist, 3 nurse practitioners (1.5 FTE) , 2 nurses (RN) (1.5 FTE), 1 psychotherapist (0.6 FTE), 2 social workers (1.6 FTE) specializing in social intervention and counselling therapy, 1 dietician (2.7 FTE), a contract orthotist-prosthetist, a contract foot care nursing assistant and administrative support staff. We are neighbors with another clinic consisting of a doctor specializing in integrative medicine, two chiropractors, a physical therapist, an acupuncturist, and a massage therapist.
Our clinical activities focus on 5 clinical programs: a mental health program, a maternal and child health program, a chronic care program (diabetes, hypertension), a nutrition program and a foot care program.
Our electronic medical records (EMRs) are supported by Telus PS Suite software and its OCEAN add-on modules (secure messaging and appointment reminders), and videoconferencing via OTN. You can also access it remotely via our VPN.
Complete management of clinical and administrative operations is carried out by an experienced management team who have also worked as healthcare professionals in a variety of settings. So we understand your reality.
Profile required
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in community health care and will consider the patient as a partner in his or her care. They demonstrate leadership, flexibility and creativity in delivering quality services in line with best practices in their field of expertise. They can communicate effectively with various healthcare professionals and physicians.

What we offer:
- $1200 per day (7 hrs/shift including 1 hour of documentation),
