Unique opportunity to join us as an associate consultant at the Focus and Function Clinic. Our clinic specializes in adult ADHD (and other psychiatric comorbidities) diagnosis and management. Our team has been providing this service to the West Durham and East GTA area since 2017. We are one of the last community-based OHIP-covered adult ADHD services in the GTA. We are looking for family physicians and psychiatrists to join our team to meet our growing demands for our services. Part-time and full-time positions are available. For those family physicians who are interested, but feel they lack the experience and training to do consultative adult mental health, we offer preceptorships and training. New grads are welcome. We will also assist you in gaining a Focused Practice designation to enhance your remuneration. We are strictly an adult mental health service and we do not manage patients with psychotic disorders or neuroatypical challenges. Remuneration is OHIP fee-for-service, under our group billing number, with a very favourable split based on gross monthly billings (which can be as low as 18.5% overhead). We currently have 9 consulting physicians who can attest how rewarding this work is (patient satisfaction, little inbox management, flexible work hours, better work/life balance). We have admin support and use Telus CHR EMR. Our clinic recently moved from Oshawa/Courtice to Pickering and is newly renovated.
