FHO MATERNITY LEAVE LOCUM IN OAKVILLE WITH OPTION FOR LOW RISK OBSTETRICS AT OAKVILLE HOSPITAL Seeking coverage of a maternity leave time 3- 3.5 days per week (scheduling flexible with regard to physician preference)

 

Evening clinic duties on a weeknight M-F approximately 1-2x a month (flexible scheduling) from 5-7:30pm

 

Location: Trafalgar medical clinic. 1235 Trafalgar road, Oakville, ON Start date:

 

Late December 2024 Duration: 10-12 months ideally

 

Roster size: ~ 1300 Demographics: all ages and stages, mix of babies, young families and elderly patients I do low risk obstetrics and women’s health but no expectation that my locum cover OB

 

Compensation: combination of per diem + shadow billing + 3rd party : works out to at least $500/half day with extra compensation for paperwork-time if necessary. 

 

I work in a truly wonderful FHO clinic - 10 other physicians (many who have been in practice for decades), ALL very collegial and open to case discussion or questions. Potential opportunities to take over for retiring physicians in the practice if a good fit.

 

Very spacious and comfortable clinic with 2 exam rooms and a private office for each physician in the clinic. Fantastic clinic manager and support staff. Full time billing support, dedicated referrals manager. Team assistants load and prep rooms and do vitals/ht/wt/BMI etc. Nurses do injections, suture removals, ear syringing, dressing changes, can call patients re: results or triage issues etc.
