About MINDS: The Mississauga Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke is a leading community-based neurology practice group in the GTA, offering comprehensive neurological care under one roof. MINDS provides extensive on-site diagnostic services including, EMG, EEG, Vestibular testing, Optical coherence tomography, Visual fields, Carotid and Cardiac ultrasounds, and Holter monitoring. The clinic is currently undergoing and expansion to accommodate a growing patient population and wait list. Position Overview: We are actively seeking neurologists with fellowship training in:
1. Headache Medicine: The successful candidate is being recruited for the directorship of our headache and concussion program. The candidate must have trained in offering advanced therapies including but not limited to nerve blocks, and toxin injections. Position is supported by a nurse practitioner.
2. Neuromuscular Medicine: the successful candidate must have CSCN designation as an EMG diplomate and competency with single fiber EMG and neuromuscular ultrasound is an asset. Currently there are 5 EMG rooms, and portable ultrasound available. The position is supported by EMG technologists and a registered nurse to facilitate timely follow up.
3. Additional positions for general neurology, and neuro-ophthalmology are available.
