Job Description
Opportunity to take over an Established FHO/FHT Practice
Posting #01-25-002
A family physician is seeking a successor to take over her practice in 2026. The successful candidate will be taking over the well-managed roster of approximately 1,100 patients and will be sharing an office with a FHO colleague in beautiful Ancaster, Ontario.
As a FHT practice, you will be supported by a Mental Health Counsellor, Registered Dietitian, Clinical Pharmacist, Psychiatrist and two part-time nurses, with access to additional FHT services such as Mental Health and Nutrition Groups. The staff are also supported by a full-time receptionist. The team uses Telus PS EMR and Ocean for eReferrals.
The two physicians share 4 rooms for patient examination and office work. The office has additional space on the 2nd floor with an office for allied health staff to use, an additional exam room as well as a lunchroom. Free parking is available on-site. Clinic hours are 9:30-5:00PM on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30-12:00PM on Wednesday and Fridays, and patients are currently booked on average 20 minutes per appointment. After-hours coverage is shared amongst the FHO members.
With the opportunity to stay status-quo, or grow, this is a great opportunity for anyone looking to practice in the Ancaster area.
