Family Medicine and Anesthesia opportunities are available in Kirkland Lake

Located 6.5 hours north of Toronto in beautiful Northeastern Ontario, Blanche River Health has two hospital sites located in Kirkland Lake and Englehart, just 35 minutes apart. There are opportunities to build your practice to fit your lifestyle and to create the work-life balance you envision. Blanche River Health is looking for a second full time GP-Anesthetist (GP-A) to join our team. In addition to being part of the rotation for anesthesia coverage in our operating room, you could have a variety of roles throughout the hospital and in the community. Within the hospital there are shifts available in our emergency departments, intensive care unit, inpatient units, supporting our NOSM and University of Toronto medical students and residents. Opportunities are available in long term care and family practice as well. We are also in need of locums in all departments throughout the year.

Our community is eligible for a site visit funded by Ontario Health and the hospital will fund a second visit to be sure that you have the opportunity to explore the community before joining our team. We are here to support with transitioning to a new community and will help with spousal job search and any extra details that you may need assistance with.
