Time will be dedicated to support of the NP according to what the NP requires such as co-seeing patients, Quality Improvement (QI) work and will evolve as the relationship develops.

Walk in patient care as required or same day type appointment if no NP is available or if support for the NP is required.

Attend to urgent patient chart reviews or urgent patient consults within 7 days of receipt. All others should be completed within 3 weeks

See NP-consulted patients if required.

Follow up with the consulting NP as required for QI/education.

The Physician will not hold a panel and will support a walk-in clinic model. Follow up processes will be covered by the NPs (After hour labs etc…)

QI initiatives – reviewing practice as requested and supporting learning and growth of clinic teams. This may include safety reviews/incidents as required.

Attend meetings with SHA colleagues approximately once monthly with the designated Physicians for each clinic site.

Actively engage in project work such as clinic evolution/design/advancement.

Utilize the clinic EMR (Med Access)

Specialty Type: Family Physician

Qualifications:

The candidate will hold certification or be eligible for certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC). Successful applicants will be eligible for a provisional or regular license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS) to practice in Saskatchewan and be able to obtain and maintain membership on the Saskatchewan Health Authority practitioner staff.
