The duties of this job include providing primary care services to rostered patients which number about 1000 over the next 6-7 months. This would include 1 clinic days per week on average but is flexible-can skip weeks with more clinic days the next. At my clinic I have a fabulous RPN nurse Karlee who makes your life very easy. I am part of our local family health team and therefore you have access to Allied health professionals. My clinic is linked to the hospital. No after hours work/call required or hospital duties. That being said, if you have an interest in hospitalist work, ER, all of this is available as well. I will look after reports/the inbox.  I am topping up the stipend to $1000 per clinic day. The clinician also does shadow billing and collects 100% of HFO billings that day. No overhead costs. West Nipissing is a fantastic area in Northeastern Ontario with access to lakes, fishing, hiking, etc. the cost of living and renting is low. I will myself be available as well by telephone at any time should there be a need to discuss cases or get additional information. This mainly is to help with practice overflow while my PA is on maternity leave.
