If you’re a general adult psychiatrist who is Royal College-certified (or equivalent) in psychiatry and CPSO-eligible, we’re a perfect match because that’s exactly what we are looking for!

Adult and geriatric patients will be your primary focus, but we welcome adolescent clients as well. A multidisciplinary treatment approach is utilized to ensure best outcomes for our patients.

• 200 bed community hospital

• 21 bed Inpatient Psychiatry Unit

• 10 bed Withdrawal Management Unit

• Supported by social workers, psychiatric assessment nurses (PAN) and pediatricians

• Hospital and Clinic EMR is Cerner

Very generous sessional funding payments will provide the majority of your income. Specifics will be shared during the interview phase.

Each call shift earns a $547.32 HOCC stipend. Call is 1 in 6 (~5 days/month), typically very light and is shared equally amongst the team.

For all services you provide at the hospital and clinic, you get to bill for and keep 100% of all OHIP billings.

There are no overhead expenses! Outpatient mental health services are provided within a shared clinic, steps from the hospital. A large, private office awaits you. Everything you need, including referrals, are provided in this turnkey office. You just need to show up and get to work!
