Toronto Minor Surgery Center is a practise located in North York that performs excisions of skin cancers, lumps and bumps (lipomas/cysts/skin tags/etc) and minor hand surgeries such as carpal tunnel releases and trigger fingers. We have an outstanding staff of over 20 Plastic, ENT and General Surgeons.  We have 6 functioning minor procedure rooms where the surgeries are performed under local anesthesia.

We are looking for a family doctor to help as surgical assistant on every Friday. All other assisting days are full.

This is a fee for service structure where the assistant will directly bill OHIP and the surgical assistant will keep 100% of billings.  Typical days are 9am to 4pm.

Expected duties are prepping and draping, holding retractors, cutting sutures, applying dressings and helping the nurse with room turnover.  It is a positive if the assistant can suture, however we are always happy to teach.
