Surgical Assistants – Milton District Hospital

Milton District Hospital seeks surgical assistants to join our growing and highly collegial OR teams.

Milton District Hospital (MDH) is part of Halton Healthcare and provides exemplary community-based care. Our surgical services include General Surgery, Orthopedics, Plastics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Urology and ENT. Billing is OHIP fee-for-service. An on-call stipend (HOCC) supports after-hours and weekend on-call shifts. MDH is a state-of-the-art community hospital with a busy surgical service. It is easily accessible from most areas of the GTA and Hamilton, as well as communities to the west. The ideal candidate will hold certification from the CFPC or RCPSC and an independent practice license with the CPSO. Skills and experience in surgical assisting are preferred, but orientation and training will be provided. New graduates are welcome.
