Job Description

We are urgently seeking ED physician coverage for the following:


Jan 10: 0800-2000* & 2000-0800* (can also be worked as 1 24-hr shift)

Jan 11: 0800-2000*

Jan 19: 0800-2000

Jan 25: 0800-2000*

Jan 28: 0800-2000 & 2000-0800

Jan 30: 0800-2000 & 2000-0800

Jan 31: 0800-2000* & 2000-0800*


These shifts are being offered with an additional $75/hour star day rate for a total of $3,330 per 12-hour shift.


Job Summary

The ED physician will see, on average, 55 patients per 24-hour shift.

The ED Physician will be responsible for:

-assessing all visits presenting to the Emergency Department during the shift

-the rare calls from Nursing Care Unit (NCU) and Complex Continuing Care (CCC) after 2300 hours until 0700 hours regarding patient care


Supports:


-(2) RNs

-(1) RPN

-second on-call physician for back-up if needed.  

-Physician Assistant from 0800-1600 on weekdays.
