The Pender Harbour Health Centre (PHHC) in Madeira Park is located on the beautiful unceded territories of the shishalh Nation on the Sunshine Coast BC. The PHHC is the Sunshine Coast’s only Community Health Centre (CHC). We are a non-profit community led organization that has provided access to health and wellness support to residents of Pender Harbour and surrounding communities for 48 years. We are proud to offer a multidisciplinary team approach and have a team that consists of a physician, nurses, social workers, a dietician, community engagement workers and program coordinators. In conjunction with providing physician services, we have long term funding to provide an Ambulatory Care Clinic (ACU), home care nursing and palliative care support. Through other agreements we offer a specialized nurse-led Chronic Disease Management (CDM) and Diabetes Clinics. We also partner with Vancouver Coastal Health to provide access to their public health and home care teams and mental health providers at the PHHC.

The PHHC is looking to welcome a New to Practice physician onto our team to increase access and attachment for our patients and deliver high quality primary care. At the PHHC you can combine longitudinal care with specialty focused care. Further you can also spend time supporting the Sechelt Hospital ER or providing inpatient care, all of which allow for a diverse and interesting scope of practice. The PHHC offers a supportive team-based care environment with a strong focus on work life balance. Our community has an abundance of lakes, trails and ocean access to explore and enjoy along with a strong community spirit.
