Job Description
Dynamic collegial group of 12 physicians supported by 1 RN working at the only medical clinic in Gibsons on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. We are fully computerized & enjoy a like-new facility.
Enjoy flexibility in a work-life balance, most physicians work anywhere from 12 -24 hours in the clinic per week, although more time is available. You may choose to also provide work at Sechelt Hospital (Anae, ER, OB, or hospitalist), but this is not necessary and applicants only interested in clinic work are encouraged.
Physicians may take 8 weeks vacation per year. The clinic is a training site for 2nd yr UBC Family Practice Residents, and we regularly have medical students from UBC if teaching interests you.
Enjoy a leisure lifestyle filled with many recreational opportunities including hiking, mountain biking, and winter sports locally and a 40min ferry ride from Vancouver with access to Whistler.
