The Namgis First Nation is looking for a physician to join the Health team. The physician will work in clinic with 2 physicians and other health team members: including 2 community care nurses, 2 mental health workers, addictions counselors and a social worker. There are also visiting occupational therapists, social work, mental health, intensive case managers and a midwife. Additionally, visiting specialists include Pediatrics, Rheumatology, Ophthalmology and Psychiatry. The position requires ER coverage, inpatient hospital care and long-term patient care. Both the clinic and hospital are located on the Namgis First Nations reserve. The position is salaried, and housing can be provided.

Recruitment Incentive: $20,000
Relocation Costs Reimbursement: up to a maximum of $15,000
Fee Premium: 23.94%
Annual Flat Fee: $27,558.36
Rural CME: starting at $1,320/annum for 2 years or less in community, increasing to a maximum of $5,720 after 4 years.
Rural GP Locum Program provides $900/day to locum physician with 43 days/annum locum coverage to resident physician.
