Job Description
Are you wanting to try small town living while covering a locum?
We are presently looking for physicians who would like to come to Wiarton and cover a locum at our long term care home, Gateway Haven. (This could be an ongoing request to locum). This is a 200-bed facility built in 2003 operated by Bruce County. The not-for-profit structure allows for a level of care that is of exceptional quality while also being transparent in operation and accountability.
Wiarton is a small town at the base of the Bruce Peninsula; with 10 kms separating Lake Huron from Georgian Bay. There are ample opportunities to sample our year round outdoor recreation and an ideal setting for physicians seeking meaningful work in a supportive and collegial environment.
