Canadian Physician Opportunities

Clinical Service Contract. Locums paid $1,286.81 per 8-hour day for the first 60 days (pro-rated for partial days); daily rate increases to $1,386.81 after completion of 60 days (paid retroactively as a $6,000 bonus). Program provides paid orientation time, paid charting time, and length-of-service bonuses as applicable. Program pays host physicians $364 per day (pro-rated).

Alternative Payment Arrangement: 1.0 FTE APP service contract available; call remuneration via MOCAP; eligible for Rural Subsidiary Agreement incentives including Recruitment Incentive $15,000 (pro-rated), Fee Premium 10.85%, Annual Flat Fee $16,814.40; Rural CME stipend (tiered, up to $4,840); Rural GP Locum Program $996/day plus 38 days/year locum coverage.

Clinical Service Contract. Compensation competitive with other hospitalist contracts on Vancouver Island/BC. Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) benefits (subject to change): Recruitment incentive up to $10,000 (pro-rated), Relocation up to $15,000 (amount based on origin), Flat fee $6,508.80, Fee premium 4.20%, CME $2,200/annum (years 3–4) and $4,400/annum (after 4 years). Relocation benefits may be available for part-time and full-time positions.
