The average gross income of a Family Medicine Physician in Alberta is $380,522. Compensation for this opportunity is based on a fee-for-service model and may include additional program stipends.

Blended Capitation

$391,237.00 - $452,949.00 (Contract). Method: 4-step primary health care compensation grid for a 1.0 FTE inclusive of 220 clinic days per year, ER, and on-call requirements.

Clinical Service Contract (Clinical Service Contract)

$391,237.00 – $452,949.00 (4-step primary health care compensation grid for 220 clinic days/year, 1.0 FTE); Contract. Call days are additional. Eligible for RPIP and other retention incentives.

Salary range $298,763 – $345,888 (4-step primary health care compensation grid for 176 clinic days/yr (0.8 FTE)); Contract payment. Emergency room coverage remunerated through the Rural Emergency Room Pilot Site Stabilization Agreement.
